1. Necessary cookies

These make the site and the Captain app work, and are always on:

• NEXT_LOCALE: the language you chose in the language menu. Kept for one year.
• so_cc: your country, worked out from your IP address, so the site can offer the right privacy choices. Only the country code, kept for 30 days.
• so_consent: your answer in Privacy choices. Kept for 180 days.
• Sign-in cookies (sb-…): keep you signed in to your account. Removed when you sign out.
• so_invite: remembers that you entered a workspace access code. Kept for one year.

2. Advertising cookies

When we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, the Meta Pixel sets these cookies to measure our ads:

• _fbp: tells Meta's measurement which visits come from the same browser. Kept for 90 days.
• _fbc: set only when you arrive from one of our ads, to connect the visit to that ad. Kept for 90 days.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they are set only after you agree. Everywhere else they are set unless you say no. Saying no removes them, and the site works exactly the same. Details are in section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

3. Your choices

Use Privacy choices at the bottom of every page to change your answer at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block the necessary cookies, the language choice and signing in will not work.
